Anne Nürnberger
Innovation & Development Engineering
Anne is a Senior Engineer at Convalt Energy based in Germany. With over a decade of experience in photovoltaic technology and plasma process engineering, Anne brings deep expertise in the efficient production of HJT solar cells to Convalt Energy. Prior to joining Convalt, she worked in the field of HJT solar cell fabrication in both the single-junction configuration and as a bottom cell in tandem application, as well as exploring future paths as well for technical innovation and future business cases in cell and module production at Meyer Burger and Roth & Rau which was acquired by Meyer Burger.
At Meyer Burger, Anne held technical responsibility for HJT bottom cell development, coordinating process experts and driving strategic product and process development. She was part of the team responsible for scaling HJT cell manufacturing, including specification, ramp-up, and process support for the Meyer Burger Thalheim factory and earlier REC-Singapore’s turnkey production site, as well as the process development critical to high-efficiency and high yield HJT cell production.
Earlier, as a Development and Process Engineer at Roth & Rau MicroSystems, Anne gained broad hands-on expertise in custom PECVD, PVD and RIE systems, across a broad range of applications. - supporting customers worldwide from system, process and product design through final acceptance.
Anne holds a Master of Science in Applied Chemistry from Reutlingen University, graduating as top student of the semester in 2013, and has contributed to patents and international publications in the field of thin-film and solar cell technology.
