Darren Bishop

Darren serves as Project Manager and Sales Lead at Convalt Energy and Lincoln Infrastructure, both portfolio companies of ACO Investment Group. He oversees project development and operations across Maine, including solar field installation, maintenance, and performance optimization. Darren also leads site development initiatives at the former Great Northern Paper Mill in East Millinocket, focusing on infrastructure, construction, and renewable power projects.

A graduate of Eastern Maine Community College with an associate degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R), Darren holds NABCET Associate certifications and multiple credentials from Headspring in solar and power generation.

Before joining Convalt Energy, Darren gained extensive experience across the HVAC, mechanical, and energy sectors—working in installation, service, and fabrication for commercial and industrial clients throughout New England. His diverse background includes mechanical engineering, welding, boiler modification, electrical systems, carpentry, equipment operation, and property maintenance, bringing a comprehensive technical skill set to Convalt’s growing portfolio of energy and infrastructure projects.
