Hari Achuthan is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of ACO Investment Group (ACO), Convalt Energy, Oxaio Networks, and DigiCollect Corporation. ACO serves as the parent investment holding company for its portfolio companies, including Convalt Energy, Oxaio Networks, and DigiCollect.
Founded by Hari Achuthan, Convalt Energy is a vertically integrated renewable energy company focused on the development, ownership, and operation of solar, waste-to-power, wind energy, power transmission, and EV charging infrastructure projects. Convalt is currently active across the United States, Southeast Asia, India, and Africa. The company is developing a solar panel manufacturing facility in Gallup, New Mexico, which has the potential to become one of the largest solar module manufacturing plants in the United States. With a strategic focus on advanced solar manufacturing, renewable power generation, and data center development, Hari Achuthan is positioning Convalt as a significant emerging platform in the renewable energy sector for 2026 and beyond.
DigiCollect Corporation, also founded by Hari Achuthan, is in the final stages of developing a digital ERP platform with proprietary applications for the power sector. These applications, together with licensed patents from Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the University of Tennessee, are designed to support next-generation smart grid technologies critical to grid modernization and autonomous grid management as the global energy sector transitions toward renewable generation. Oxaio Networks is focused on developing backbone ISP infrastructure in the United States and Africa, with an emphasis on future quantum computing technologies.
Prior to founding ACO and Convalt, Hari Achuthan served as a Director at Credit Suisse Asset Management within the Alternative Investments Group, where he covered hedge fund, real estate, and private equity strategies. Before joining Credit Suisse Asset Management, he worked at Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, where he led the firm’s global pension strategy and transition management business, providing cross-asset solutions for public and corporate pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and insurance companies.
In 2009, Hari was recognized as one of the emerging leaders at Credit Suisse Asset Management and was named one of the “Rising Stars in Public Pensions” by Money Management Letter. During his tenure at Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, the firm was consistently ranked among the leading providers of pension strategies and transition management services.
Hari holds a B.S. in Applied Economics from Hofstra University, where he was also a member of the Hofstra Football team from 1991 to 1994. He has volunteered with the Jacksonville Police Athletic League and has been a frequent guest lecturer at Louisiana State University School of Business. Hari has also authored a series of papers on the transition management industry published in Institutional Investor and Pensions & Investments.
