Maik Felber

Maik Felber is a project manager at Convalt Energy and an experienced industrial compliance and technical operations specialist with more than a decade of experience supporting international manufacturing and engineering environments. His professional background combines regulatory compliance, product safety, technical communication, and process implementation within highly regulated industrial and technology-driven sectors.

Before joining Convalt Energy as Project Manager, he held multiple positions at Meyer Burger in Germany, a leading photovoltaic technology and manufacturing company and a pioneer in HJT (heterojunction) solar technology. Most recently, he served as Product Safety Manager, where he was responsible for machinery compliance, particularly for CVD and PVD process equipment used in advanced solar manufacturing. His responsibilities also included risk assessment processes for solar cells and solar modules, as well as implementing safety and conformity standards across complex industrial production systems.

His expertise includes applying the EU Machinery Directive and harmonized standards, functional safety, technical risk mitigation, and compliance management in advanced manufacturing environments. He also contributed to developing and standardizing operational and maintenance documentation for international customers and industrial stakeholders. In addition, Maik Felber has extensive experience in technical communication systems, multilingual service documentation, and digital maintenance content supporting scalable industrial operations and long-term asset reliability.

At Convalt, his work supports the company’s industrial manufacturing and infrastructure activities through compliance-oriented process management, technical documentation, and operational support for large-scale energy and technology projects. Maik Felber studied Technical Communication at Chemnitz University of Technology, graduating with a Magister Artium degree.
